Hi all!! Haha...YAY!! A Cappella championships'09 is finally over!! =DI didn't say that because I was dreading it.. But because we did well.. =DThe junior team (FULL STOP) sounded great on Friday!! I love them so much!! =X.. I swear we do sound good as compared to 1 month ago.. Of course there are some things that we could improve on like dynamics, energy and more choreo... But it was good effort from all of us!! Haha.. And we clinched 3rd out of 6 groups.. It was good!! If you do want to take a listen to us.. You can visit my facebook account and take a look at 'TAS YV - Full Stop (Aca Champs'09)...On Friday it was even better..Things started great for the pop choir at the rehearsal in the afternoon @ TAPAC.. We were sounding at our top form.. =D..However, the standard did drop when we went for soundcheck.. Maybe because we were not really comfortable with the environment.. But NO EXCUSES!! Anyway, it was great effort from everyone during rehearsal where we all gave our opinion to how we think we should sound.. And I believe that that short 2-hours was the key to our ' GOLD' and ' Judges Favourite'... We all put in our effort during that 2 hours to remember what David had taught us for the past month and improved from there.. It was really great heart and sincerity from every single one in the group that made us regain our standard.. However, I would want to remind that complacency should never come in as that would lead to our fall.. I hope that we would remain that standard for X'mas 2009 or even be better.. We would allow the new comers to catch up to us.. But not letting ourselves and what we have gained through the concert and competition to drop to the low standard.. If we can do it on that Saturday why can't we do it for christmas shows!! =DAll we need is the true passion of every single member towards a cappella music and the desire to scale great heights.. We will defintely be able to acheive whatever we want to achieve!!I would really miss TAS YV during my 'o' level break!! I would miss Yohannis, Christopher, Josephine, Melissa, Salima, Hidhir, Willie, Boon Wei, Arif, Samuel and Mrs. Sassarak and Mr Alex... OH WELL!! ALL Good things will come to an end... BUT THIS TIME IT WILL NOT!! I will come back!! =DGO TAS YV!!
