HI HI PPL!! Very long nvr blog le... Haha... Finally SYF was over yesterday, 16 Apr 09... The choir got a Silver... Hmm... We tried our best and all of us were very happy when we came down... I guess we really did our best.. Ms Chung, Ms Chen and Ms Ho were really happy when we all came down from the stage... Even though it is a Silver... I hope it is a high silver... This choir has been through alot... From the change of conductor... To addition of Saturday Rehearsal... To Conflicts in between members/leaders... and finally till yesterday, 16 Apr 09, where we really did put down most of our differences and sang as a team. It was so amazing to hear ourselves when we were at the 'tuning room'.. The room was enclosed and we can hear the 'real nice' sound that we produce bouncing back to our ears when we were there... We sounded so nice.. I was really, honestly touched at that point of time... We finally came together to make music...We went on stage.. Tried our best... Had some small errors here and there... Come on man.. Which choir does not make mistakes... None of the choir there are perfect... Although we went semi-tone sharp for Go, Lovely Rose and Ti Or Or, I believe all of us enjoyed the music we made up on stage.. Or else the happiness would not show so much when we came off stage... Everybody was very happy and cheerful.. They hugged each other and made alot of noise(Nearly got chased down XD)... WE HAVE DONE IT!!At that point I really was just glad that everybody had such confidence in themselves, partly because MS Chung was praising us after every song XD... The other part was probably because they felt they did their best and they did well.. We truly became the SATB choir that I dreamed of.. we Succeeded because we enjoyed the music we had made.we Achieved such happiness and fulfillment within ourselves,we had Teamwork like we never had before,lastly, we were in our Best shape and did not regret any part of it.AMKSS Choir, do not be dissapointed or upset... I believed that none of us had regretted any part of the 9mins we had on stage.... We became true musician... True musician that used their passion to deliver the music and not just only the beautiful voice within us... Also, I would like to say that I am not upset or dissapointed with the results... What matters is that we enjoyed and had fun... I know it may seemed that I am repeating myself over and over again.. But that is really what we had achieve together as a choir...I really hope that after the sec4s step down, you all would really put away all your differences and come together as a choir and work hard for any performance(I will be coming for all, if I can)... JIA YOU AMKSS CHOIR.. WE WILL DO YOU IT!!
